About This Dog

Smithy's ideal home

Smithy is a gorgeous 7 month old toy poodle who is looking for a quiet home where he can find his feet at his own pace and show owners what a sweet and affectionate boy he can be. He can be nervous when meeting people and in new situations which is why he is looking for patient owners who will let him approach and settle in his own time. Smithy can live with another dog and children aged 11 plus. He does need to work on his skills when it comes to walking on lead as he is underconfident and has had a hard start to life.

Smithy can often be found on the lap of his favourite carers here at the centre. Given time, patience and some snacks he will make a loving addition to a warm and calm home.
