Description

Zac's ideal home

Zac is a handsome 4-year-old Lurcher cross Poodle. He has oodles of energy and is looking for an active family that will take him on some awesome adventures! Potential owners will need to have some experience when it comes to training Zac, as he does need some help with his meeting and greeting other dogs. He gets very frustrated on lead and can bark at dogs, but once he has had a controlled meet, he is happy to run off-lead with other dogs and have a fun play. He could potentially live with a calm dog that can show him the ropes. He is unable to live with cats. Zac can live with children 11 years and over, as he is an exuberant lad and could be a bit too bouncy for younger children.

Could you be Zac's perfect match?

Zac is currently in a temporary foster home and is doing really well. The foster carer is working on ‘4 paws on the ground’ training. He travels well in the car and is housetrained. Zac is fine to be left for a few hours if he has had a good walk first and has plenty of enrichment to keep him busy. Zac is a happy chappy and loves being with people. He will be an amazing addition to your family.

Buying Checklist

Poodle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Poodle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
