3 years and 3 month old Betty has come to us through no fault of her own and is looking for a forever home where she feels loved and safe. Betty is full of energy and will need a active home that enjoys lots of daily walks, once out and about Betty loves to explore and sniff around. She is super friendly and enjoys being with people Betty would benefit from a home where someone is around most of the time while she adjusts to her new surroundings, once settled she could be left for a few hours but this should be built up slowly. Betty could potentially live with another dog depending on a successful dog mix here at the center, she is a playful girl and always wants to play with other dogs. She can also live with children14+ who are comfortable around large bouncy dogs. Betty has shown she is housetrained (odd accident to be expected when she first goes home) and she would benefit by having use of a secure outdoor space. Betty will need regular grooming to maintain her coat.

She is an excitable girl who loves to run around jumping about and playing with squeaky toys and she does expect you to join in and throw the toys for her. Betty will need an understanding and patient family who do not rush her and give her time to feel secure as she gets to know you and settle into her new home. She has had an unsettled past and will seek reassurance from her handlers. Poodle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Poodle.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
