Description

Nala's ideal home

Nala can live with another quiet dog and children of high school age. She is house trained but not used to spending time by herself, and her family will need to introduce alone time gradually. She will need regular trips to the groomer, so please consider this extra expense if thinking of adopting Nala.

Could you be Nala's perfect match?

Nala’s family have struggled to give her the time and care she needs, so she’s on the lookout for adopters who can give her the love she craves. She’s a sweet little thing who loves to be made a fuss of and has settled well into centre life. Nala has been enjoying getting out for walks, and as her fur was quite matted, we’ve shaved it short for her and she’s feeling much better. She has been sharing her kennel at the centre and seems to enjoy the company, so we’d be happy to rehome her with a family who already have a calm and quiet dog. Nala does find the rowdy ones a little much. In her previous home, Nala has been handled quite roughly by small children, so we advise any kids in her new home should be of high school age and able to understand the correct way to touch her and be able to recognise when she needs a little space. She is used to travelling in the car but can get sick at times, so longer journeys may need building up to. Nala also isn’t used to spending time by herself, so that will also need to be gradually introduced, although having another dog for company may make that easier for her.

Poodle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Poodle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
